TeamLed by Amy Hathaway, the goal of the educational outreach division of the Westlake Robotics team is to promote an interest in science through hands-on demonstration and to provide younger students with a basic understanding of robotics technology. Over the last two weeks, they have visited elementary schools throughout the district, including Cedar Creek, Barton Creek, and Bridge Point Elementary. As these students move into middle school, the Westlake Robotics team is dedicated to providing a support network and ample mentorship to upstart teams. |
